a little disappointed with the top speed but the ride is great
and the hole shot is fast. I really like the wider decks. I can
fish 3 people on the front deck with no problems. I love this

"This has been the best boat I could have hoped for. I was  PHOTO
hesitant to go from single console to dual, but after doing it  PHOTO
I will ALWAYS have a dual. Fishing partners appreciate  PHOTO
it and the deck and floor space of a Champion 203
provides plenty of room for gear, partner and more. I have
fished 3 from the Champ and had enough room. The rod
lockers are so large that after packing my rods I realized
I had room for more! The storage layout is great and
smaller storage areas behind the seat are perfect for the
little things ya want at hand but always end up in the bow
at the bottom. Will run 67 mph with decks clear of
pedestals and one person+ full gear.
Pndered 225 hp at point of purchase, but 200 VMax runs
strong and is a good match for me (never caught a fish
over 30 mph anyway). I added Attwood livewell pumpout
and retractable rod straps on front deck. The feature I like
the best about this boat is the clean dn well designed dash
and instruments and most of all...no fake plastic wood!!!
Dash is all white figerglass gel coat with white bezel gauges
  and stainless trim."

White/Teal. Like the HUGE livewell and the deck insert/

97 150 Merc XR6 "Not a true bassboat but a deep V, similiar to
"Coastalchamps".  Just got her this winter; was made in late
'97 but not sold until '98.  She was used 1 year then sat for
2 because the owner bought a Ranger (ugh!).  Next owner
had here 2 years and now she's mine...he's going to buy
a Ranger also.  If one thing is certain is that I will be
the first owner of this boat NOT to buy a Ranger!
She's deep, on the custom trailer the gunnel comes up to
the top of your chest (I'm 6'1")....looks like she'll handle
rough water (Bay De Noc, Sturgeon & Green Bay) pretty
effortlessly.  SC with 2 ped seats plus 2 butts, one on a
rear casting deck over the splashwell that I just finished
  fabricating, approx. 30" x 6' x 1 1/2"....looks factory.
  2 livewells, one +50", 2 rod boxes, 2 coolers, 20A DualPro
Special Champion Edition OBC.  Haven't been able to
run her much...expect to settle in the upper 50's when I
finally settle on a prop.  Thinking of a 23/24 Tempest Plus
or Trophy Plus.  This guy had a 21 Hi Five for holeshot....
I'd like overall performance instead.  This spring I'll be
working on the setups I'm sure.  There's one other thing
for sure...this boat is big but it looks like it'll cut thru butter
like a hot knife.  Pictures will be forthcoming for the curious.
I think this boat is pretty unique...all of the current fishunters
are well over 19', this one's 18' with an 88" beam."
