  66.8 mph @ 5500 rpm (gps). "Finally got through break in  
Updated 3/28/09...... period. Engine was originally factory set at 5 3/4" below  
  the pad, chinewalked so badly the nose was doing a 4 foot  
  figure 8 above 58 mph and would only turn 64.8 mph at  
  5240 rpm with only be aboard. The Fury gets the nose up  
  quickly, but it is necessary to get on the trim quickly or the  
  boat plows. The water remp was 47.4 and the air temp  
  was 45.4 and there was light chop so I think I'll get better  
  numbers when the temp improves. My old Champ was a   
  184."

  Everyone I talk to says that I should be pushing 5800/6000  
  rpms. I would appreciate any ideas on how to get more  
  top end or rpms."
